About
As a lifelong resident of Fairfax and a graduate of Fairfax High School, I have deep roots in the community I serve. My mother operates the Stafford House Bed & Breakfast, and my father serves as Senior Pastor at Fairfax Church. I married my high school sweetheart, and together we are raising our three daughters in the same community that shaped me.
My path to becoming an attorney was not a traditional one. After graduating from Fairfax High School, I began working at Lawrence, Smith & Gardner when my high school soccer coach, Martin Brillantine, offered me a part-time position with the firm. Since 2006, I have worked in nearly every role within the practice while also gaining experience with several other law firms throughout Northern Virginia. Over time, what began as a job developed into a genuine passion for the law, leading me to pursue a legal education in 2016.
I earned my law degree from University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in 2020 and was subsequently admitted to the Virginia State Bar. My practice focuses on complex litigation matters, with an emphasis on defending individuals facing serious criminal charges. I represent clients at every stage of the process, including during investigations before charges are filed, after arrest, and through trial. I strongly encourage individuals to seek legal counsel as early as possible when potential criminal liability arises.
I believe effective representation requires more than legal knowledge alone. Clients deserve an attorney who is fully invested in their case, willing to dedicate the time, preparation, and effort necessary to advocate on their behalf. It is a privilege to earn that trust, and I approach every case with the seriousness and commitment it deserves.
